It’s Friday, but Sunday is coming!

Thank you to all those who joined us in body or in spirit on Wednesday for our send off.  We’re grateful for your support and prayers!

We traveled in two groups on Wednesday and Thursday to Krakow, Poland where we met Slavic and Nadia Pyzh for a couple days of touring.Slavic earned a PhD from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and now leads the Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary in Lviv.  

The first group visited a salt mine on Thursday and we all toured Auschwitz I & II (Birkenau) on Friday.The labor and death camps served as a reminder of the devastating impact of the fall, our depravity and desperate need for Christ’s atoning work on the cross as well as our great hope because of the empty tomb.  

After a wonderful meal and much needed sleep, we toured downtown Krakow on Saturday morning before making our way to Lviv.
